FLUKE 1664FC Installation tester

Key features

The 1664 FC puts more power in your hands by testing quickly and efficiently according to all local regulations. Devices inadvertently connected to the system being tested are protected. Moreover, the 1664 FC makes it easy to share test results via your smartphone.

  • Automatic test for measuring mains/loop impedance, trip current/ trip time of earth leakage circuit breakers and for insulation testing, at the touch of a single button.
  • Additional high-current loop mode. Faster measurements compared to loop tests with no-trip mode for RCDs.
  • Z-max memory for loop tests - easy evaluation of the highest loop test value.
  • Unique zeroing adapter for fast, always reliable and accurate compensation for measurement and power cords.
  • Quick voltage measurement between L-N, L-PE and N-PE using the power cord. This does not require changing the measurement connections.
  • Simultaneously measure the tripping time and tripping current of RCCBs (RCCB type AC and A).
  • Two measurements simultaneously and dual display. PEFC or PSC and loop impedance are measured and displayed in parallel, saving you time.
  • Ring tests - select required input sockets with soft keys - no swapping of test leads.
  • Automatic test start for loop and RCD tests - as soon as the mains voltage is stable, the test starts.
  • The earth potential touchpad detects elevated earth potentials >50 V and alerts to potentially dangerous situations.
  • Supplied with SureGrip™ safety measuring leads and clamps, giving the user a comfortable, reliable grip and consistent results.
  • The rotary switch clearly indicates which function is selected; all functions in one place and no complex multi-level menus.
  • Large backlit display, clear symbols and exceptionally wide viewing angle for easy and safe measuring.
  • PASS/FAIL indicator for RCD test results.
  • Variable RCD current mode for custom settings.
  • Loop and grid resistance with mΩ resolution
  • Testing of RCCBs sensitive to smoothed DC voltage (type B).
  • Extended memory with 3 layers.
  • Use continuity test currents for measuring motor windings.
  • Resistant to a 1-metre drop.
  • Compact, light (less than 1.3 kg) and with padded neck strap leaving your hands free for all-day testing.

Protect equipment, share results wirelessly, run seven tests at the touch of a button.

The Fluke 1664 FC installation tester is the only tester with ‘preliminary insulation test’. If the tester recognises that a device is connected to the system under test, it aborts the insulation test to prevent damage. The 1664 FC also offers you Fluke Connect ®, so you can send test results to your smartphone and collaborate with others. The Auto Test function performs seven tests at the touch of a button, reducing the need for manual connections and reducing the risk of errors. You can find more Insulation & Installation Testers here.

Preliminary insulation test

Protect the installation. Avoid costly mistakes.

The Fluke 1664 FC installation tester is the only installation tester with ‘preliminary isolation test’, which warns you of potential serious and costly faults. If the tester recognises that a device is connected to the system under test, it aborts the insulation test and gives a visual warning. This helps prevent damage to peripherals and keeps your customer happy.

Fluke Connect and FlukeCloud™ storage

Share information from anywhere.

Stay informed even if you and your team are in different locations. Fluke Connect allows your 1664 FC installation tester to send test results to your smartphone so you can connect and collaborate with others. It's the fastest way to show your team what you see, so you can get approval without leaving the site.

Recall stored results from anywhere.

FlukeCloud™ storage lets you access stored results and make decisions in real-time, whether you're in the office or on site. Plus you can import the data into Fluke DMS and generate certificates. Plus you get world-class protection. Secure. Secure. Fast. More accurate. All thanks to the power of Fluke Connect.

Auto Test reduces test time by up to 40%

Auto Test performs 5 required installation tests in one cycle, ensuring compliance with installation regulations. It reduces the number of manual connections, reduces the risk of errors and reduces test time by up to 40% compared to previous Fluke models.
