The Fluke 1670 series of multifunction installation testers will revolutionise the way you work. With an ergonomic design, seamless user interface, integrated data management capabilities, wireless connectivity (1673 FC and 1674 FC) and comprehensive reporting software, the 1670 series sets the new standard for an integrated plant testing solution.

Reliable installation testing is essential for the safety, optimal functionality and integrity of a facility's electrical systems. The rugged design of the 1670 series allows you to check the safety of residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems while meeting the requirements of IEC/HD 60364-6 and all relevant local installation test standards.

With the 1670 series, you can perform your required tests faster and reduce the time spent on documentation, while being able to fully rely on the data you collect.

Simplified user interface and test setup

The 1670 Series takes data management to the next level and streamlines test set-up and preparation with an advanced bidirectional user interface. When setting up your project, the hierarchical tree structure for clients, locations, distribution panels, circuits and test points can be easily modified using the high-resolution colour touchscreen, a smart device or a PC. Edit, add, delete or change information directly on the instrument as you test to ensure accurate data or transfer updates to your tester via the Fluke Connect™️ mobile app or TruTest™️ desktop software. Easy-to-read test tables help you quickly see that you are recording the right measurement data at the right measurement point every time. You now need to spend less time setting up your tester and organising data, giving you more time to run valuable tests.

Perform all required tests up to 30% faster

Plant testing can be a time-consuming process. It often requires repetitive, manual test settings that can be frustrating and cause errors.

The Fluke 1670 series utilises a unique Auto Test function (1673 FC / 1674 FC), which allows you to go through a complete installation sequence at the touch of a button. An integrated help function provides a visual connection guide to ensure successful measurement. Automatic measurement validation, with user-defined limit alerts, compares test results to relevant standards and provides you with an instant visual pass/fail indication to quickly identify potential problems. By eliminating manual testing and automating measurement validation, you can run your tests up to 30% faster, giving you more time to focus on other critical tasks and increase productivity.

*30% faster testing compared to manual testing.

Reduce documentation and reporting time by as much as 50%

With the Fluke 1670 series of multifunction installation testers, you can reduce documentation time by as much as 50%. Link test results to the circuit or point under test, reducing manual data entry and time spent on record keeping. You can also preview inspection results on site via the tester, a smart device or a PC, and Fluke Connect compatibility allows you to easily store, manage and share your data from location. Fluke TruTest software lets you generate on-site inspection certificates in just a few easy steps, so you can complete and bill your inspection at the time of service. With the Fluke Connect mobile app, you can document and enter all relevant photos and inspection notes to complete your on-site work, eliminating the need for extra work in the office.

*50% faster reporting and documentation based on customer interviews.

Functionality Insulation PreTest™️

The Fluke 1674 FC comes with a patented Insulation PreTest, allowing you to better protect the system and avoid costly errors. If the tester detects that devices are connected to the system during the test, the insulation test is stopped and a visible and audible warning is activated. This helps prevent accidental damage to peripheral devices and saves you time and money.

Optimised software and reporting

Fluke TruTest software simplifies electrical system data management and reporting, eliminating the problems of traditional data management with one integrated Fluke solution. Good data management and test information are essential for producing easy-to-understand reports for customers or your management team. TruTest streamlines the process by allowing you to create and transfer test metadata between the software and your plant tester using a USB-C interface cable or via the Fluke Connect mobile app, ensuring accurate results.

With its user-friendly interface, intuitive workflow and report creation function, you can quickly format your measurement data into printable test certificates and reports, complete with your company logo and electronic signature. The live on-screen dashboard allows you to instantly see the status of all your clients and navigate to detail level if required.

Fluke's TruTest software lets you create certificates that comply with a growing list of regional reports, including BS7671, DIN VDE 0100-600, ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8101, NIN/NIV, NEN3140 and other European installation test standards. All these reports are available at the touch of a button, and a preconfigured international template ensures that the TruTest software covers every location.

Compatible with Fluke Connect

Enhance the functionality of the 1673 FC and 1674FC installation testers with the Fluke Connect mobile app, eliminating tedious data entry and optimising data management in the cloud. The Fluke Connect mobile app wirelessly synchronises measurement data from your installation tester for later export to TruTest desktop software, so you can report quickly and effectively even on site. Use the Fluke Connect app to create projects and upload them to your 1673 FC and 1674 FC for streamlined data management. Build distribution panels and circuits to send to your tester and use this data to guide your test regime. The Fluke Connect app also lets you take pictures with your smart device and assign them, along with comments, to specific measurement points or devices, and create detailed visual inspection reports.

With Fluke Connect's powerful ecosystem of test and measurement tools, you can take your troubleshooting and reporting to the next level. Connect additional measurement tools, such as the Fluke 369 FC leakage current clamp or the Fluke 1630-2 FC earth terminal, to synchronise data between auxiliary equipment and measurement points, giving your customers a clearer picture of the overall state of their installation.
