The Fluke 9040 is suitable for measuring phase rotation anywhere three-phase supplies are used to power motors, drives and electrical systems. The Fluke 9040 is a rotating-field indicator and gives a clear indication of the three-phase voltage and phase rotation direction via an LCD display, allowing the correct connections to be determined. The phase sequence can be quickly determined and it has a voltage range (up to 700 V) and frequency range suitable for commercial and industrial applications. The measuring probes supplied with the instrument have a variable clamping range to allow safe contact, especially with industrial sockets.
