- 2- and 3-pole potential loss tests - standard earthing test using two earth pins
- Selective testing - without disconnecting earth electrodes; a technician can measure earth resistance by using a combination of earth pins and a current clamp.
- Electrodeless testing - an innovative solution where instead of earthing pins, only current clamps are used to measure loop resistance in earthing systems.
The Fluke 1625 has the following advanced features
Automatic frequency control (AFC) - which identifies existing faults and selects a measurement frequency such that the interference effect is minimised, thus providing a more accurate earth resistance value.
R* measurement - which calculates the ground impedance at 55 Hz, for a better reflection of the ground resistance as it would exist in the event of a ground fault.
Adjustable limit values - for quick verification of test results.
