The ADDITEL ADT226 Multifunction Process Calibrator takes portability, functionality and accuracy to a whole new level and packs it with an intuitive and easy-to-use colour touchscreen display.
The ADDITEL ADT226 Multifunction Process Calibrator is a powerful yet cost-effective process calibrator, providing a ATEX certified intrinsically safe option - ADT226Ex that allows you to perform calibration work in the most demanding environments.
We are confident that these new instruments will not only meet your calibration requirements, but make metrology easy for you!
User-friendly interface similar to a mobile phone
The ADT226 series brings a whole new user interface to the world of process calibrators. With a menu-driven interface and small size/weight, the ADT226 is the industry's smallest multi-function process calibrator with an intrinsically safe version (ADT226Ex). It uses advanced human hand engineering design for the most convenient handheld process calibrator available. The ADT226 is developed with a powerful embedded operating system that solves common problems of other designs, such as slow response, cumbersome key operation, high power consumption and overall slow processing.
Accuracy
Additel's new and improved ADT226 series offers greatly improved accuracies, including electrical accuracy of 0.015% RD + 0.005% FS, high-static differential pressure mode accuracy up to 0.002% FS and across-the-board improvements in temperature measurement accuracies.
Time-saving features
Besides all the great features mentioned above, the ADT226 series is packed with time-saving features such as our built-in pressure and temperature converter, thermal calculator, wiring diagram guide for help with electrical connections, a built-in diagnostic centre including intelligent alarm notification and real-time error report and comprehensive self-tests to help our customers get the most out of their investment in Additel calibration instruments.
Portable and robust
The demands of remote calibration work can be challenging. Lightweight and highly portable, the ADT226 series uses an advanced colour LCD display to ensure easy viewing even in the (Ex) intrinsically safe versions. All models in the ADT226 series are designed with ruggedness and reliability in mind and meet IP67 standards with a 1-metre drop test, 4G vibration, xenon exposure and 130g steel ball drop test of the display. Other environmental factors such as temperature and humidity have also been taken into account. To combat these external elements, Additel has designed a unique internal circuit design and process technology so that you can perform your critical calibration and measurement tasks with complete confidence.
Intrinsically safe option
The Additel 226Ex series of calibrators have passed the most stringent tests by certified organisations to obtain intrinsically safe certificates, ATEX, IECEX. The explosion-proof grade (Ex ia IIC T4 Ga) can be widely used in potentially explosive environments, such as oil and gas platforms, oil refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, pharmaceutical industries, energy and gas processing industries. Each intrinsically safe calibrator has an advanced transflective colour LCD display that is more visible in direct sunlight. Wherever your work takes you, these calibrators are up to the task. Thermocouple measurement performance
The ADT226 series delivers greatly improved thermocouple measurement capabilities through greatly improved cold jucntion compensation (CJC) specifications and greatly improved stabilisation time.
Time-saving features
In addition to all the above features, the ADT226 series is equipped with time-saving functions, such as a built-in pressure and temperature converter, a thermal calculator, a wiring diagram to help with electrical connections, a built-in diagnostic centre with intelligent alarms and a real-time error report and comprehensive self-tests to help our customers get the most out of their investment in Additel calibration instruments.

Intrinsically safe option
Additel 226Ex series calibrators have passed the most stringent tests by certified organisations to obtain intrinsically safe certificates, ATEX, IECEX, CSA and UKCA. The explosion-proof class (Ex ia IIC T4 Ga), can be widely used in potentially explosive environments, such as oil and gas platforms, oil refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, pharmaceutical industries, energy and gas processing industries. Each intrinsically safe calibrator has an advanced transflective colour LCD display that is more visible in direct sunlight. Wherever your work takes you, these calibrators are up to the task.
Voltmeter (RMS)
The Additel 226 non-Ex version is equipped with a “true effective value” RMS measurement function, which can measure the RMS of different waveforms without having to consider distortion or waveform parameters and different errors caused by different waveforms
Targeted application functions
The onboard applications offer a useful selection of functions, including high static differential pressure mode, pressure leakage test, safety valve test, analogue transmitter calibration, unit converter, thermal calculator and snapshots to name a few. The high static differential pressure mode uses two sensors, unique calculation technology to achieve a differential pressure measurement of up to 0.002% FS at high static pressures. The leak test automatically calculates the pressure drop to establish a leak condition. The safety valve test is a specialised task that establishes the exact pressure drop point by taking 10 measurements per second during a valve crack test. You will find this and much more as we continue to develop new apps at Additel.
Connectivity & battery
Users can remotely connect mobile devices to the ADT226 via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication with an unobstructed distance of up to 20 metres. The included USB Type-C communication port and cable provide an option for wired communication and for charging the removable Li-ion battery, which offers a working time of up to 35 hours.
