LHM Instrumentation is a BELAC-accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) calibration laboratory. We carry out thousands of calibrations every year, both in our laboratory and on-site at clients’ premises across various sectors. LHM Instrumentation is part of the Aptco Group, which provides shared services for HR, IT, finance and marketing.
As a Calibration Specialist, you will primarily calibrate tensile testing machines, temperature, pressure, and torque wrenches on-site at customer locations; depending on your experience, you will also handle electrical calibrations. You work according to clear procedures and quality frameworks (ISO/IEC 17025), accurately document your measurements, and clearly explain the results to the customer. Variety, autonomy, and customer contact are central to this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- On‑Site calibrations carry out work for customers (industry, labs, OEMs) — you work according to a plan, safely and in accordance with established procedures and scope
- Execution of on‑Site calibrations focus on temperature, pressure and torque wrenches; electric depending on your experience.
- Recording measurements and certificates deliver in our calibration software.
- Explain the results, abnormalities discuss and advice about recalibrations and optimisations.
- Working in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, safety instructions, and customer requirements.

Essential items
- Technical pre-training Secondary or higher, or equivalent through experience.
- Enjoy! to learn more; accurate analytical.
- Willingness to drive in Belgium (out and about daily) and to stay overnight occasionally; driving licence B.
- Dutch fluent; English Functionality is a bonus.
