The GLC-9000, leakage current tester, is used to perform leakage current testing (or touch current testing) on general electrical (IEC 60990) equipment. This tester works in conjunction with nine measurement networks (or called measuring instrument) to simulate the human body while the EUT (equipment being tested) performs a leakage current test in accordance with specific standards or regulations such as IEC, UL, JIS. ..etc.. To provide a simple working environment, the GLC-9000 is equipped with a large TFT LCD touch screen to configure the system and simultaneously present information about the measurement settings and the result at the same time. In addition, 50 preset test conditions, compliant with IEC60990 and other standards, for general electrical equipment can be recalled to reduce set-up time. In addition, 30 sets of empty memory are available for user-defined settings. A Meter Mode is also available for the GLC-9000, it uses the measuring terminal (T1 / T2) to measure voltage as the same way as an ordinary voltmeter. During voltage measurement, the SELV (extra low safety voltage) function applies to detect if the voltage value between measurement points exceeds the SELV setting.
