Versatile multimeter for production, development and service
Eliminate production errors
The Fluke 8808A multimeter with 5.5 digits reliably performs most common measurements required by today's applications. Whether you are performing function tests or critical measurements at measuring points, using the limit comparison function with pass/fail indicators eliminates production errors, especially where results are critical. The 8808A's display has integrated display indicators that clearly show the user whether a test has produced a good or bad result. The pass/fail indicators eliminate guesswork during testing: the result is either within certain limits or outside them!
Improve the quality and efficiency of testing, R&D or service in production environments
Applications in production testing, R&D, development and service demand high performance and great flexibility from a table-top multimeter. This Fluke 8808A performs measurements that stand up to every test. It offers a wide range of measurement functions, including volts, ohms and amps, plus frequency, all with superior accuracy and resolution.
Measure two parameters simultaneously
The 8808A has a unique dual display, allowing you to measure two different parameters of the same signal from one test connection. By viewing two interrelated parameters such as voltage and current simultaneously, conditions can be detected that would otherwise go unnoticed, greatly simplifying troubleshooting and testing.
Measure small leakage currents
Typical multimeters use a shunt method to measure current, generating a load voltage that results in a larger deviation error when measuring low current values. This makes it difficult, if not impossible, to perform tasks such as determining the actual leakage current at a battery-powered device when it is switched off, or measuring small currents in sensitive circuits. The Fluke 8808A is the only multimeter in its class that uses a low-impedance operational amplifier and a current-voltage inversion technique to eliminate load voltage and make sensitive measurements of low current values. In this special mode, the 8808A can accurately measure small currents with a resolution of up to 100 nA.
Take four-wire measurements with only two test leads
The patented banana plugs with split connectors for 2×4 resistance measurements allow you to make accurate four-wire measurements with only two test leads instead of four. Modern surface-mount components make making connections difficult. The task becomes even more difficult when you need to use 4 wires to accurately measure low resistance values. Fluke's test lead accessory combines the four wires into two test lead pairs, making your connection considerably easier. You obtain excellent resolution and accuracy and have the convenience of only having to use one pair of test leads.
FlukeView® Forms Basic
FlukeView Forms increases the power of your Fluke instrument by allowing you to document, store and analyse individual readings or ranges of readings and then convert them into professional-looking documents. Transfer data points from your meter to your PC and use the non-customisable standard forms to display your results in a table or graph. Upgrade to FlukeView® Forms 3.0 with FVF-UG when you want to use FlukeView® Forms Designer to customise your forms yourself.
Fluke quality integrated into instruments
Fluke is known around the world for its rugged, reliable and accurate multimeters. Based on our experience, design standards and quality assurance processes, we have developed a multimeter that more than lives up to all its specifications. A measuring instrument from Fluke always performs better than specified anyway. All our efforts are focused on ensuring that you can measure accurately - repeatedly and confidently.
