The Fluke 360 leakage current clamp is a robust and accurate instrument for leakage current measurements.
The design of the Fluke 360 leakage current clamp is ideal for measuring insulation resistance without infringing on the existing installation. This instrument allows you to take measurements without having to switch off the installation or disconnect equipment, saving you time without compromising on quality or safety.
The unique jaw design of the Fluke 360 AC leakage current clamp eliminates the influence of adjacent conductors and minimises the effects of external magnetic fields, even at weak currents. This allows you to make accurate and reliable measurements in today's electrical environments with their many cables. The sturdy and high-quality jaws of the Fluke 360 leakage current clamp ensure high stability for long-term reproducibility and a long service life.
Why test for leakage current?
Leakage current can be an indicator of the effectiveness of conductor insulation. In circuits with low insulation resistance or in electronic equipment where filters are used, high leakage current values can occur. Leakage current can disrupt the normal operation of equipment and installations. The source of leakage current can be detected with the Fluke 360 leakage current clamp, which allows systematic measurements to be made throughout the installation. The main advantage of leakage current testing over insulation testing is that the plant and equipment do not have to be switched off. The test can be performed during normal operation.
