Measuring and monitoring the quality of the grid in low-, medium- and high-voltage networks is becoming increasingly important. LED lighting, frequency controls, inverters for solar panels, charging stations, wind turbines and switched-mode power supplies all have a strong impact on our grid quality.
Measuring power quality in a changing electricity network
Therefore, measuring according to the well-known EN 50160 standard alone is not always sufficient anymore. Supraharmonische frequencies also play an important role in disturbances and pollution of the grid. To be able to take the correct measures, the causes of these phenomena must be correctly measured, analyzed, and interpreted.
During this technical seminar, Lukas Rappel from A. Eberle his knowledge and practical experience regarding current power quality standards, supraharmonic systems and modern solutions for mobile and continuous monitoring.
