The DET3TC can test soils on site without disconnecting the utility connection. The complete kit gives you everything you need to start testing and includes the instrument, test leads, sticks, batteries and calibration certificate, supplied in a sturdy polypropylene carrying case.
The DET3TC is easy to use, with a large selector switch that allows you to switch between two-pole and three-pole testing, and can be easily operated with gloves on. In addition, its design eliminates the need to apply short circuits for bipolar testing.
The earth/ground rod tester has an IP54 rating, making it a robust outdoor instrument. The optional clamp around the earth rod connection allows the rod to be tested without disconnecting it, keeping the earthing system intact during testing (ART). A large, clear, easy-to-read LCD display and a thumb-sized test button also make the instrument particularly suitable for outdoor use.
