La norme d\u00e9finit la gravit\u00e9 des risques et les types de protection utilis\u00e9s pour \u00e9liminer la possibilit\u00e9 d'une explosion pour un produit donn\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Pour obtenir la certification ATEX, les produits sont envoy\u00e9s \u00e0 un organisme notifi\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 qui effectue des essais pour s'assurer que les crit\u00e8res pertinents sont respect\u00e9s. Une fois les tests termin\u00e9s avec succ\u00e8s, la certification est accord\u00e9e et doit \u00eatre mentionn\u00e9e sur le produit. Les classifications couvrent \u00e0 la fois les environnements de gaz inflammables et de poussi\u00e8res pour les sources potentielles \u00e9lectriques et non \u00e9lectriques (m\u00e9caniques) de
