The low decade steps of 0.01ohm sets very high resolution, when simulating resistance values and the power output is 1.0 watts per coil.<\/p>\n<p>The RM8 uses dual pole switching to minimise the effects of contact with resistance. The lower value decade (0.01 and 0.1ohm) are made of manganin resistance wire and the other decades of selected metal film resistors. This offers good stability combined with excellent charge and temperature coefficients.
