Every year, we carry out thousands of calibrations, both in our own laboratory and on-site at clients\u2019 premises across a wide range of sectors.<br \/>\nWe are part of Aptco Group, with professional shared services for HR, IT, finance and marketing \u2013 so you can focus on your profession.<\/p>\n<h2>What are you going to achieve here?<\/h2>\n<p>Inside <strong>6 months<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calibrate your self-contained temperature and relative humidity measuring instruments in accordance with ISO\/IEC 17025.<\/li>\n<li>Document your measurements correctly and ensure clear, error-free calibration certificates.<\/li>\n<li>Do you work smoothly with colleagues and can you clearly explain what the results mean.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Inside <strong>12 months<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do you become a reliable reference for colleagues within your domain.<\/li>\n<li>Gradually expand your expertise into <strong>Print, electric or torque<\/strong>, depending on your interests and pace.<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of your planning and files, with scope for autonomy and optimisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What does your work look like in practice?<\/h2>\n<p>Your work is technical, precise and varied:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You check and inspect measuring instruments before calibration.<\/li>\n<li>You perform calibrations by comparing instruments to reference standards of known accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>You analyse deviations and make adjustments as necessary within the applicable standards.<\/li>\n<li>You accurately process your results in calibration certificates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What characterises someone who is successful here?<\/h2>\n<p>You don't have to be able to do everything.
